Karaoke, two nights in a row.

I love to sing. But who would have thought that after one night of Karaoke where there isn't a 40 person rotation that my voice would be completely and utterly shot. It was, however, a lot of fun. We went to this place in East Haven. It was the cleanest little bar I have ever seen. The bathrooms were IMMACULATE!!! I could not believe it. It they served food like shrimp and pasta, and gave you a lot of it AND it looked like it had been made by a gormet chef. (for some reason I can't spell this morning.) It was a lot of fun. It wasn't very crowded and it was just me, Dana and Rob. So it was ncie a laid back. I didn't have to search my way through crowds of people just to get to the bathroom. I have to say the best part was when a few kids from a local little league team showed up. These kids were so cute, and oh so italian. One of this kids sang I Love This Bar and Whiskey Girl! They were like 11-12 years old and knew all the words to songs that I had never even heard of when I was that age. The coach said when they go to away games that's all they play in the car. Coach has tained his players well in the music department. The owner was also REALLY nice. When we were leaving he yelled at us for not saying goodbye and said we were good kids and would like us to come back. Then he told us that the kids from that little league team were supposed to be going to cooperstown!! They got picked for a tounament but six of the single mothers couldn't afford to send their kids so the bar was going to have a fun raiser on July 29th to raise some money. I feel like I should put like $5 a day away for these adorable little boy! We are definatly going to that.

Tonight we go to Bennigans. I'll head up after I go to work and then its off to New Hampshire first thing tomorrow morning. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I've worked nine days in a row and I am ready for some down time. Although, working nine days in a row at Brooks Brothers is WAAAAAAAY easier then working nine days in a row at Pier One. I think I would have killed myself if I ever had to go back there again. I get paid to go shopping at Brooks Brothers!!!! They just don't care, especially when its slow, which it is a lot of the time. I can't wait for the fall stuff to come in, it should get busier which means we get better commission. I also found out that if we meet a certain benchmark number that we get a higher commission percentage. I think I need to start working a little harder to get some clients so when that time comes around there are more people for me to call and say "Hey Mrs. So-and-so, we got a ton of new stuff in how about you stop by and max out that Brooks Card of yours!!" Anyway I have to go pack, shower, and get ready for work. I can't wait to get some ice cream from on the stip and some fundge and ....ooooh yuuuuummy!!!
